PRIVACY

Clear about data.

You can browse Pure Skate Media without creating an account or giving us your name. This page explains what the site itself measures and when external services may receive data.

Who is responsible

Pure Skate Media operates this website. For privacy questions, corrections, access or deletion requests, contact advertise@pureskatemedia.com.

Anonymous site statistics

Our lightweight first-party measurement records the requested page, the time a pageview started and the number of seconds that page remained actively visible. It uses a random token for that single pageview only.

The statistics system does not store your IP address, browser fingerprint, name, email address or a persistent visitor identifier. It does not use cookies and it cannot count unique people. Raw pageview measurements are retained for up to 13 months and are used to publish aggregate site statistics and improve the reading experience.

The measurement is skipped when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or a Do Not Track preference.

Google Analytics and advertising

Google Analytics may be used to understand aggregate use of the website. Google AdSense is used to deliver and measure advertising. Depending on your location and choices, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, online identifiers, device information, approximate location and interactions with pages or advertisements.

Analytics and advertising storage are set to denied by default in the website’s Google Consent Mode. Where applicable, a consent management interface may ask whether optional processing can be enabled. You can also manage Google advertising preferences through My Ad Center. Google describes its processing in the Google Privacy Policy and its advertising information.

Advertising does not buy a place in the daily selection and does not influence a Pure Score. Paid collaborations will be identified as such.

YouTube videos and API data

Pure Skate Media uses YouTube API Services to find public videos and retrieve public metadata such as titles, descriptions, channel names, thumbnails and public engagement counts. We do not request access to a visitor’s YouTube account or private YouTube data.

Videos are embedded through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain. Loading or playing an embed, or opening its source link, still connects your browser to YouTube and may allow Google to process technical and usage data under its own policies.

Use of YouTube functionality is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Server security logs

Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs containing information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL and time of access. These logs are used for security, reliability and abuse prevention. Their technical retention is controlled by the hosting environment.

Your choices and rights

Where a consent interface is available, you may use it to refuse or withdraw optional analytics and advertising consent. Browser and Google settings provide additional controls. Refusing optional tracking should not prevent access to editorial content.

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to information, access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection. Because our own statistics do not contain a persistent visitor identity, we normally cannot link an anonymous pageview back to an individual. Questions can be sent to advertise@pureskatemedia.com.
